an easy way to fix it open dos prompt type format c:\ hit enter type yes hit enter and wait an hour then it is fixed

Ya, we ended up doing a full format/OS reinstall to this sad sad PC.
This is why i like working with macs better...>.> although they can get rowdy too.

some things like root kits will not be uninstalled by that all it will do is pop up windows forever saying virus detected could not remove access denied

A root kit is something that is used on UNIX boxes to maintain UID/GID 0. It's used to also exploit the vulnerabilities to gain superuser access.
Windows has trojans, spyware, virii, popups, adware, worms, idiots, morons, and bankers.
Root kits go back to the day where hacking was a crime worth committing.

thats why i carry my handy dandy Hi-Jack This program which corresponds with my firewall to send out nasty little surprises to anyone trying to act silly

I like your style I need to teach you how to hack Cisco 2600 series routers and up, and how to install backdoors in IOS, then use those to begin packeting the "silly" people.
